Passed away on December 13, 2009 at Toronto East General Hospital at the age of 80. Loving husband of Velma and loving father of Sondra(Gerry), Nancy and Ted(Brinda). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Perri, Lauren, Iain, Gemma and Maura. Dear brother of Francis. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Newtonbrook United Church(53 Cummer Avenue). Private Interment at St. John's Cemetery in Sunderland, Ontario.
