Peacefully, at Southlake Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 30, 2008, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey O'Brien (September 2008). Loving father of Rick and his wife Glenda and Linda Stephenson and her husband Dale Little. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren: Kyle, Rebecca, Rob, Jeff, Mike and predeceased by Chris. Survived by his brother Russell O'Brien and his wife Eleanor. Friends may call on Friday, October 31st, from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Christopher Stephenson Memorial (Cancer Research).
