Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on January 11, 2012 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Kam. Beloved mother of Judy, Richard, Francis and Susana. Proud grandmother of Andrew, Lisa, Jennifer, Gregory, Derek, Brian, Denise and Matthew. Loving great grandmother of Katie, Henderson, Ryan and Lauren. After spending her early years in a village in southern China, she went to Hong Kong, worked and got married and raised a family of four. In 1971, she and her husband moved to Canada and joined their children. Although she did not receive any formal schooling, she always reminded her children and grandchildren the importance of education and how it makes everyone a better person - the world a better place to live.
The family would like to thank the management and staff of Kennedy Lodge Nursing Home for their loving care during her stay there. The care and professionalism of Dr. Zoberman and his staff at the Scarborough General Hospital is also greatly appreciated.
