Lambert Pitterson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lambert Pitterson, who passed peacefully on February 19, 2026, at MacKenzie Health at the age of 89. He was born on August 25, 1936, in Victoria District, Clarendon, Jamaica. Lambert is survived by his daughters Mava, Sharon (Horace) and his only grandchild Carrington. He is also survived by siblings Eliza, Dynestu, Olive, Linva, Pershad, and Patricia.

He has gone to rest with Derel May (spouse), parents Rufus and Asenath Pitterson, and Perleta (sister).

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and brother who was devoted to family and loved every moment he spent with them. He loved gardening and was a devoted Blue Jays fan.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at RNS and ParaMed, and a special thank you to Marjorie, Aurora, Renee, Rockel, and Joy for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Lambert’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

A visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill) on March 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for March 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes. A reception will follow. The burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St) at 2:45 pm.
