Died peacefully although unexpectedly on October 4, 2012 at the age of 77 with children and grandchildren at his bedside in Sunnybrook Hospital. Loving father of Barbra and Peter Sr., Norman and Nadra, Steven and Chun Chen, Deborah and Tony, Beverly and Stephen, Nancy and Bob. Grandfather to Alison and Derek, Peter Jr., Faith, Liam, Alicia, Alivia, Alex and Sheena, Stephanie, Samantha, Candy and Craig, Derek Jr., Andre, Julia and Kayla. Great-Grandfather to Bennett, Tessa, Isabella and Teddy. The eldest of eight children of the late Alfred and Irene Terry, and brother of Trish and Warren Johns, Jim and his beloved late Connie, Jane and Wally Gustar, Richard and Johanna, Peter and Mavis, Phillip and the late William. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) for visitation on Thursday, October 11th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 12th at 11am in the chapel.
