Leo Troiani

Passed away peacefully at home after a courageous two year battle with cancer at age 44. Loving and devoted husband of Mary Lisa (nee Martini). Beloved son of Anna and Gerardo Troiani and son-in-law of Flavio and Silvia Martini. Dear brother of Rosemary and Paul and brother-in-law of Tina and Marco Cipriani. Cherished Zio and Godfather of Vanessa and Matthew. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his many relatives, friends, TNH hockey buddies and work colleagues. With great appreciation we thank Drs. M. & G. Litner, S. Sinclair, M. Lee, M. Ng, S. Wong, B. Berger, and all the Nurses and Staff for their care and support. We will always remember and cherish Leo for his sense of humour, his love of life and his dedication to family, work and friends. Friends may call on Saturday October 25, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday October 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, South of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Ave. West). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre or York Central Hospital.
