Suddenly, on Friday, April 9, 2004, at the North York General Hospital, in his 76th year. Jiggs, beloved husband to Pearl for 58 years. Loving father to Charles (Diana) of St. Catharines, Lynn (Dan) Read of Mississauga and Susan (Doug) Anderson of Markham. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 14 great- grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Margorie Tafford, Audrey (Howard) Wark, Elenor (Norm) Dault, and Joan (Ralph) Stobbe. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 o'clock. Cremation.
