(Retired District Chief, North York Fire Department and World War II Veteran)-Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Science Centre, on Sunday, October 19, 2003, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Molesworth). Loving father and father-in-law of Carolyn (Dave), Greg (Irene), Wendy (Craig) and Frederick. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tricia (Harry), Tony, Brandon, Abbey, Nicole and Emily and predeceased by his grandson Sean. Survived by his sister Mabel and predeceased by his brothers Sydney and William. The family will receive friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 1pm. Interment to follow Highland Memory Gardens. The family wishes to thank the nurses, physicians and staff of the Hospital's Renal Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
