Our Opa passed away peacefully in his 90th year on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband to his beloved wife of 57 years, his guardian angel, Wilhelmina. Loving father to Gerry (Joyce) and Wynand (Mary Clare). Cherished Opa to Philip, Sandy (Gord McKenna), Michael, Alex, Adam and Trisha. He will be dearly missed. Leo emigrated from the Netherlands in 1951 and was a long standing resident in Stouffville, Ontario for over 50 years. His family extends a heartfelt thanks to the kind and caring staff at Bayview Extendicare and North York General Hospital. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Toronto (south of Steeles Ave.), on Friday March 28th, from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue, North York (north of Finch Ave.), on Saturday March 29th, 2008 at 11 a.m.
