Suddenly and unexpectedly on March 4, 2011 in her 83rd year. Cherished wife and best friend of the late Bruce. Beloved mother of James (Stephanie) of Norval, Mary (John Williams) of Guelph, Susan (Bernie Lucht) of Toronto, Paul (Sheila) of Muskoka and Margaret (Michael Jones) of Cannington. Loving gran of Gavin and Nigel Williams and Ben (Claire), Patrick and William Lucht. Dear daughter of the late Gavin and Leonora Phillips. Loving sister of Reta Kennedy, Doris Smith, Jack Phillips (all predeceased), Rae Barker and Bill (Marlene) Phillips. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lee will be greatly missed and remembered with much love and affection by her many treasured friends, some lifelong, others only recently met. She was a kind and caring person with a wonderful sense of fun. She delighted in music, birds and nature. She was the heart and soul of our family and created a home filled with love and laughter. She was our great good fortune. We will miss her always. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
