Passed away on May 1, 2010 at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 85. Former owner of the Markham Waxers. Son of Oliver and Bertha, beloved brother of Violetta and Arch, predeceased by Nelson, Samuel, Edna, Raymond and Guy. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
