Louis Pratile

With love and sadness, our family announces the passing of our dad, Louis Pratile. Died peacefully at home in his family's loving arms and by his side on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, age 58. Dear husband of Sandy Pratile and loving father to Lauren, Joseph and Lindsay. Beloved son of Ventura and the late Joseph Pratile (1992). Survived by his sister Nella and her husband Domenic DiBattista and brothers Savino and Charlie and his wife Susan. Uncle to Anthony, Daniela, Taylor and Olivia. Louis will be remembered for many things…his boundless energy, drive, integrity, honesty, generosity and availability for family, friends and anybody in need. He had a passionate love for life, appreciating every single day. He was taken from us before his time. His spirit lives on in our hearts and we will continue his dreams on his behalf.

Friends may call on Monday, June 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral services will be celebrated at St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills (19 Don Ridge Road), on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Louis' name, may be made to the Temmy Latner Centre for home-based Palliative Care.
