

Luigi Polsinelli passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, on May 23rd 2021. Luigi is survived by his children, Rita (David) & Tony (Anna), his grandchildren Angelo (Assunta), Stefanie (Albert) and Samantha (Andrew) and great-grandson, Dominic. He is also survived by his Sisters, Emilia (Umberto), Maria (Bill) and Lucia (Gino), brother Frank (Sheila) and Sister-in-Law, Rosina. Luigi will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Luigi has gone to his rest, rejoined in eternal life with his late wife, Francesca, his parents, Cesidia and Luigi and his brothers Domenico, Vincenzo, Antonio, sister, Loreta and Sisters-in-law, Gina, Speranza, Dora and nephew Dino. He is also reunited with his Sister in-law, Vincenza (Ernesto) and Brothers-in-Law, Domenico (Assunta) and Nicola (Antonietta) and nephew, Gabriel.
Luigi will be remembered as a loving Father and Husband, who was devoted to family and loved every moment he spent with them; he will be remembered for his love of animals, gardening, socializing, classical music, playing the harmonica, playing cards, dancing, cooking traditional foods, his sense of humour and genuine, loving kindness and compassion. Luigi was highly respected and admired by all who met him and was an excellent role model not only to his family, but to his friends and neighbours.
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff and residents at Valley Vista Retirement Residence and to the team of Dr. Berger and his staff of Nurses, PSWs, Therapists and Volunteers at Hill House Hospice for their compassionate, genuine care.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 5-8 and Monday May 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8.
Funeral services will take place at St. David’s Church on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at 9:30am.
