Lukas passed away peacefully, in his 91st year, at Sunnybrook Hospital on Friday April 17th. He is survived by Irene, his loving wife of 64 years, as well as his son Joe and daughter-in-law Menka. He is also survived by his brother Rudi and sister Ella (both in Austria). Lukas worked in the feed mill industry for over 40 years and for those that knew him, he gained their respect and admiration. He will be also be remembered as a man who was deeply devoted to his family and enjoyed the company of his friends. His easy smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends, both here in Canada and in Austria. A private funeral service will take place on Monday, April 20th.
