Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his home in Aurora, Ontario. Beloved husband of Ann-Marie, brother of Bertram and his wife Anita. Step-father to Michael (Kathleen) Keaveney and David (Amanda) Keaveney. Much loved Pops to Erin, Matthew, Ciaran, Cillian and Eoghan. Uncle to Lisa and Sally. Ray served with the Royal Anglian Regiment for 40 years. He led a full and active retirement and had a lifetime love for travel and his garden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Celebration of Ray’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
