With family at her side, on Thursday April 13th, 2006, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Shannon (1995). Loving mother of Gordon and his wife Norma and Peggy and her husband Rick. Cherished 'Gramma' of Kevin, Shannon and Yanique. Margie will be sadly missed and dearly remembered by her family and close friends. Special thanks to the staff and residents at Glynnwood Retirement Home for their care and compassion. Friends may call on Thursday April 20th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel on Friday April 21st, 2006 at 11 o'clock. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Osteoporosis Society, Alzheimer's Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
