Of Toronto, Ontario. 1923-2007 Margaret's passing, like her life, was a blessing in which she was embraced by loving family and friends, and supported by her strong faith. Like most blessings, Margaret earned them through a lifetime of sharing her faith, her love, and her kindness without expectation or contemplation of reward. This was justly rewarded nevertheless with a loving husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Margaret recently celebrated her 51st wedding anniversary with her husband Dennis, her children Margaret Mary, Tricia, Dennis, Chris and Theresa, and her grandchildren Richard, Laura, Emily, Leanne, Brent, Jamie, Kim, Alyssa, Samantha, Peter, Melanie and Michael. Margaret passed away on the beautiful morning of June 16, 2007, holding her sister's hand, Beth Young, and carrying their shared prayers to their father and mother, Fred and Reine Walton, their brother Cardiff and their sisters Fran, Norma and Gail, who have all gone before them. Margaret enjoyed a long and successful career as a legal assistant in Toronto. She sang in the chorus of the Canadian Opera Company and loved music. She was a convert to Catholicism over 50 years ago, a choice made with much joy. Visitation will take place at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, on Monday June 18, 2007 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The funeral in celebration of Margaret's life will take place at Blessed Trinity Church at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
