Suddenly, but peacefully, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the age of 86. Beloved mother of Caterina (Domenic) Tamburro; Anna (Lou) Portolese. Sister of Nick (Nancy) Morelli. Grandmother of Teresa (Gerard) Miron; Franca Tamburro; Laura (Danny), and Julianne Portolese. Great grandmother of Emilie Miron. She will be sorrowfully missed by her relatives in Toronto, Italy, Australia and Argentina. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 and Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum. The family thanks the staff of North York General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
