Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Toronto at the age of 73.
Loving mother of Jim and his wife Marnie, Shan, John and his wife Stephanie, and Kathleen. Proud Grandma of Ryan, Eric, Nick, and Catelyn. Dear sister of John Brownlee and Alan Brownlee. Good friend of Ronald and Mary Lynn Ritchie, Russ and Elinore Burton, Joan Robertson, and Maureen Maguire. Marion will be sadly missed by her classmates of Wellesley School of Nursing Class of 1959. After her children were grown, Marion satisfied her life long desire for learning by earning her Masters Degree in Philosophy at the University of Toronto. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30th from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 31st at 11 a.m. at Bloor Street United Church (300 Bloor Street West, east of Spadina, Toronto) . As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Ministries.
