Marjorie Mary Hobson

Peacefully,on Sunday, 27 January 2019 in her 99th year. Marjorie was born in Manchester, England on 20 August 1920. During WW II she worked in a factory that made the Lancaster bombers. She met her husband Jack Hobson in England during the war and came to Canada as a war bride.

She is predeceased by her husband Jack. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Carol and son-in-law Michael, son David and his friend Marlene as well as her grandson, Steven and his partner Bruno, her grand daughters Kelly Nie and her husband Andrew, Shannon and her partner Harry as well as her great-grandchildren, James, Gabrielle, Marleigh and Caleb.

Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (2 blocks south of Steeles Ave.) on Wednesday, 30 January 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment York Cemetery. Donation in memory of Marjorie may be made to Shepherd Village, 3670 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough ON M1T 3K9, as would be appreciated by the family.
