Martha Maria Haraszti

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie. Loving mother of Marianna (late Thomas Csathy) and Tom (Judy). Cherished grandmother of Frank (Tina), Marianne (Phil), Nadine (Keith), Peter, Andrew and Lisa (Brook). Great-grandmother to Thomas, Adam, Pippa, Natalie, Catherine, Elizabeth, Matthew, Nathaniel, Sophie, William and Anna. Survived by sister Judit Fekete in Hungary. Born in Veresegyhaz, Hungary. Well respected pharmacist, who nurtured a warm and memorable cottage experience for her family and friends. In her retirement years, she remained socially active in her parish and retirement home. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Gibson Retirement Residence and Dr. A.J. Kirshen for their kindness and exceptional care. Friends may call on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 2 - 5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary R. C. Church (432 Sheppard Avenue East).
