Martin Vladimir Phillips

Suddenly in his 48th year, our dearly loved son and brother Martin, passed away on Monday January 11, 2010. Beloved son, Martin is survived by his mother Georgina Phillips, devoted and cherished brother to sisters Georgina Howe, Lisa (Phillips) Tabata and brother-in-law Russell; brother Bill Sarris, loving niece Nicole Rhea Sarris and predeceased by his father, Vladimir (Larry) Phillips. Martin will be sadly missed by all of the "Thursday night" group from The Auld Spot & his many, many friends; but not least of all by his entire family. A most beloved son and brother, a treasured and esteemed friend, Martin will be missed yet remembered always by everyone who knew & loved him.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 2 -4 p.m. and Monday, January 25, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Armour Heights Presbyterian Church (105 Wilson Avenue). As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity or the Charity of Your Choice.
