Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Suomi Koti Nursing Home at the age of 86. Predeceased by his beloved wife Taina (2010). Loving father of Tarja and Teija (Rod). Dear brother of Reino (Canada), Raimo, Erkki, and Marjatta (Finland) and their families. Martti will be missed by all his family and friends in Canada and Finland. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church (25 Old York Mills Road). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church.
