Passed away on February 20 , 2014 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 58. Loving husband of Beverley. Loving father of Jonathan and Patrick. Dear brother of James and John. Dear brother-in-law of Sharon. Uncle to Elizabeth and Erica. Predeceased by his father Eriks, mother Theresa and brother Eric. Marty will be missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Celebration of Marty's Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
