Passed away on January 3, 2011 at North York General Hospital at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late William Lindsay Black. Pre-deceased by her loving sister Isabella Kitson. Dear step-mother of Anne and her husband Jose De La Barrera and loving grandmother of Michael and Lindsay De La Barrera. Fondly remembered by other members of the Black family, George and his wife Valerie, David, Kelly Robertson (Black), Andrea Black and Christina Barker (Black).
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Private Interment will take place at a later date at Westminster Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
