Peacefully, at York Central Hospital, on May 19th, 2006 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie in December 2001. Cherished father of Paul, Maureen, Brian, Greg and Vince; father-in-law of Carol, Ray, Rita and Pam; loving grandfather of Lindsay, Kirstin, Austin, Aidan, Logan and Landon. Predeceased by his sisters Marie and Margaret. Mike was an enthusiastic bridge player and his positive nature and gentle spirit will be remembered by all. Visitation will take place at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Tuesday May 23rd from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor (75 Churchill Avenue) on Wednesday, May 24th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery, Mississauga. The family would like to thank the helpful staff at Amica on Bayview, the caring staff of Maple Health Center and the nurses and doctors of York Central Hospital.
