Michelle was a long-term resident of North Yorkers for Disabled Persons, and will be deeply missed by all residents, and staff.
Michelle was the Backstreet Boys greatest fan, and attended several of their concerts. She loved nothing more than getting out and socializing. She greatly enjoyed her classes and visits to CHIRS (Community Head Injury Resource Services) each week, along with Saturdays at Variety Village. Her other joy was the fellowship she found at the Peoples Church. Michelle had a strong independent spirit and enjoyed outings using the subway to shop and explore. Michelle loved her nightly phone calls with family and friends, and would share information about her day. We will all miss her calls.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Critical Care Unit at North York General Hospital for their compassionate care.
