Born February 3, 1920. Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home with her loving, caring son Robin close by her side, on October 8, 2016. Milly was in her 96th year. Beloved mother of Joan, Robin and Cheryl. She will be remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren and a lifetime of loving relatives and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Chung for his expert longtime care over so many years. Late husband Lloyd Makins, and the late loving father of Robin and Cheryl, Geo. Thompson, will greet Mill in Heaven, along with mother Florence, father Henry, sister Violet and brother Charlie, who lost his life in Normandy in 1944. Mildred was a WWII Navy Wren photographer. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to The War Amps. The visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., S. of Steeles at 2 p.m. on October 13th followed by a service at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. God Bless.
