Milka Stasoff

In her 96th year, our Mother valiantly endured Dementia and

Cancer for many years and finally succumbed on Saturday, August 18th.

The most beloved Mother of George Stasoff, Helen Rentis and

Virginia Spence. Cherished Grandmother of Elaine Simonds,

Tom Rentis, Chris Stasoff, Stephanie Baker, Debra Shear, Grant

and Kelly Spence. Adored Great-grandmother of Connor and Kristen,

Mathew, Sara and Jordan, Joe, Andrew and Katie. Loving Wife of

the late Chris Stasoff. Predeceased by her brothers, Dine, Angelo

and Bill, and her sister Slavka. A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother

and Great-Grandmother, she strived for the welfare of the entire

family and helped each of us to obtain our goals in life.

Our gratitude to the Staff of Meighen Manor, S.P.R.I.N.T., and

the Doctors and Staff of Dermatology and Podiatry at Sunnybrook

Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations to The Salvation Army Meighen

Manor, The Alzheimer's Society, the Canadian Cancer Society, or

Sunnybrook Hospital would be most graciously appreciated.

Visitation at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Toronto from

2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 20th, and Funeral Services and

Reception at Kane's on Tuesday, August 21st at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at

York Cemetery,160 Beecroft Road, Toronto.
