Muriel Woolston

Passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2018. She leaves behind her husband Paul of 62 years, children Deborah and Greg, their spouses Andy and Karen, and her 3 grandsons Ryan, Zachary and Noah who will always know her as “M”.

Although reserved about her talents it should be recognized that Muriel was an accomplished and accredited OHA Design and Horticultural Judge. She was an active member of the Thornhill Garden and Horticultural Society and the Milne House Garden Club.

A gentlewoman, courageous, graceful and kind. Muriel is already missed.

We would like to thank her Palliative Care Team, Dr. Dayanti Nauth-Misir, Nurse Kay, and PSW Aida for their warm, compassionate and kind manner in which they cared for Muriel. We would like to also thank the medical staff at MacKenzie Health which included the ER team of Dr. Berlinger, Nurses April & Maria and the team of Nurses on floor 3C Medicine Orange; Grace, Cecelia, Saji and Joanne.

It was Muriel’s wish not to have a funeral. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so, may make donations in her memory, to Hill House Hospice (hillhousehospice.com); Toronto General Hospital-Cardiac Centre (tgwhf.ca); or the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca).

The family would appreciate all condolences be made private.
