Nicola Jamil Kharouba

Nicola Jamil Kharouba of Haifa, Palestine, son of the late Jamil and Martha Kharouba, brother of the late Victoria, Farida, Yousef, Laurice, Maurice and Faheema, survived by Faheem, Fayza and Fawzi, passed away peacefully at Humber River General Hospital on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 8 pm. Nicola passed at the age of 89 and he was so blessed to have been surrounded by those who loved him, his wife, his children and grandchildren. He was the beloved and caring husband of Katherine Raad Kharouba with whom he shared a life of over 59 years. Nicola is survived by his wife and their 5 children, Jamil, Samir, Haifa, Nader and Hala. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Niveen, Rami,Tarik, Zaid, Dina, Ghassan, Laila, Nicholas and Savanna. He will be terribly missed by all his family. Nicola was an extraordinary and hard working man who will be remembered as a talented Master Mechanic who travelled to many countries and succeeded in providing his family with an exceptional quality of life. He will also be remembered as a kind, patient, gentle, strong and fun loving man that carried a certain eloquence and charisma everywhere he went and touched so many lives. His children consider him a role model and his grandchildren will forever remember the life lessons he taught them. The day God called him home he left us peaceful memories and his love will forever be our guide.
