Nicoleta Georgas

Peacefully, at Hellenic Care for Seniors on Sunday May 18, 2008 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Georgas. Leta is predeceased by her sisters Athena and Lambrini and brother Stephen, and survived by brothers Panagos and Dimitri, sister-in-law Evelyn Georgas, children George (Jean), Angelo (Muriel), Lorraine (Richard Dahl), Stephen (Anne), and grandchildren Gregory, Susan, Jennifer, Joanne, Richard, Nicole, Michael, Deana and Peter, and great-granddaughters Morgan, Amber and Georgia.

Leta was devoted to her husband, Michael, and an inspiration and tower of strength to her children.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Hellenic Care for their warmth, kindness and attention to Leta's needs while she resided in their care.

The family will receive friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York, (at Goulding south of Steeles Ave.) on Thursday, May 22 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Friday May 23, 2008 at 1 o'clock. Interment in Lindsay, Ontario at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Hellenic Care for Seniors.
