D'SILVA, Olive Helen -- With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of dearest Olive on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at North York General Hospital, in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Dearest mother to Gerald (late Eleanor), Ralph (Ninette), Marina (Edmund), Neville (late Florence, Joyce), Christine (Winston). Loving grandmother to Laila, Kevin (Kim), Valerie, Karen (Jerry), Chantal (Dermot), Fleur, Ken (Angela), Charmaine, Nicole, Jason, Ivar (Jenn) and 9 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, the staff at Gibson Long Term Care and the staff at North York General Hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation will be at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 2-6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 21 Simonston Blvd. Thornhill on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
