Patricia McLeod

Passed away peacefully in her 83rd year at MacKenzie Health in Richmond Hill, Ontario on Sunday March 1st , 2015. Daughter of the late J.Edwin Newsome and Hazel (nee Watts) and sister of the late John Newsome of Weston. Wife of the late J. Gordon McLeod. Mother of Bonnie and the late Ian McLeod.

Tricia will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Bonnie (Mark Francis), sister-in-law Lorraine (late Bruce McLeod), niece Heather (Martin Spong), grandnephew Jake, grandniece Bronwyn and extended family, as well as the many friends, staff members, teachers and former students and their parents. She began her teaching career in 1953 teaching at Baythorn Public School in Thornhill from 1973 until her retirement in 1989. On Monday April 20th, 2015 at 1:00p.m. the family invite friends to join them at Emmanuel Church, 15 MacKay Drive in Richmond Hill for a Memorial Service; an opportunity to share stories and memories of Patricia, followed by refreshments. In lieu of flowers, a donation to one of her favourite charities; Hospital for Sick Kids, War Amps or World Wildlife Federation would be appreciated.
