Paul Douglas Lordly

Born in Sydney Nova Scotia, Paul was taken from us suddenly in Toronto on October 24, 2009 in his forty-ninth year. Loving father of Dalton and husband to Rhoda. Son of Winston Lordly and Barbara Lordly (Garland). He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He will be sadly missed by his brother David Lordly, his Sister Virginia Lordly, step-brother Joseph Lordly, step-mother Donna Lordly, nephew Ashwin Gowland and many aunts and uncles and cousins. Fondly remembered by his special long-time friend Lloyd Berger, mother-in-law Jean Donald, and many friends and colleagues in Nova Scotia and Toronto. Paul grew up in Sydney Nova Scotia and graduated from St. Mary's University with a Commerce Degree, and later from Ryerson University with a dual degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Paul was also the past President of the Toronto Chapter of Psi Upsilon fraternity. Friends and family are welcome to share memories on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street south of Steeles), memorial, 3 to 3:30 p.m. reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Lyndhurst Centre or the Canadian Paraplegic Association would be appreciated. Condolences to [email protected]
