Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the age of 74. Philomena, beloved wife of Maximus Perera. Loving mother of Cheryl (Roshan Peiris), Roshan (Angela Colford) and Michelle (Brian Gledhill). Devoted grandmother of Lucas, Tobias, Alexander, Max, Charlie, Sophie and Georgia. Survived by her dearest brother Paul Fernando (Nirmalie). Philomena will be greatly missed by her niece, nephews, family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 20th at 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue (north of Finch). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
