Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday July 3, 2006 at her home. Loving mother of Claudia Petrescu and Alex Costin, and their families. Raissa was passionate artist, and her sculptures and paintings will allow her spirit to live on. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2006 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the ALS Society.
