The Masons

January 7, 2012

Dear Phyliss, Rob, Sheri and Chris,
JoAnn and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Reggie's passing. The years that we Masons spent at Wertheim Court, we're very special years for us, where we got to know you all as a lovely family and where you embraced us and became our new found friends.

Not least among you of course was dear Reg. What a great chap and a true character. You and he Phyliss, we're the first people I met, who still liked to work, even though your peers were long retired. You both amazed me with the passion you each still held for the work you both were so very good at. You were an inspiration. It kept you both young at heart and very interesting to know. I now know that I will not retire.

We are so very sorry for your loss and very sad that we will no longer see Reg at a Christmas lunch. We both have very fond and lasting memories of the very wonderful and special character that Reg was in those 13 years we all worked together.

God's speed old friend and safe journey.

To the Bowyer Family,
I have the best memories of Reg from the first time he let me take the gravely tractor for a spin when I was about twelve to eating smoked mussels and sardines ,to watch him masterly craft model airplanes in the basement and then going to see them fly. Truly a great person. Our thoughts are with you.
