Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in his 90th year. Reg was married for more than 56 years to his late wife Margaret (nee Graham). He will be sadly missed but long remembered by his son David and his wife Janet Mills; daughter Diane and her husband Brian Fulton; and by his grandsons Jamie, Brent and Stephen Sharpless, Graham and Scott Fulton, and by his newest grandson Andrew Mills, all in whom he took such pride. Reg spent most of his working life at the De Havilland Aircraft Company and was proud to have worked on virtually every type of airplane they built. In his retirement years he was never happier than using his extraordinary mechanical talents in tinkering away at his work bench building something or fixing something that for the rest of us was unfixable. He had a full life. Funeral Services will be held at Willowdale Baptist Church, 15 Olive Avenue, Toronto at 11 a.m. Monday, October 5. If desired, donations to Willowdale Baptist Church or North York General Hospital, where he received such exceptional care, would be appreciated.
