Reynaldo “Rene” left us on Friday December 15th, 2017 at North York General Hospital, peacefully in his sleep in his 78th year. Our beloved father now joins our mother Lourdes, his wife for 41 years. He leaves us, his children Lourena, Luisa (George) and Tim (Eliza) and his grandchildren Nicolas and Kristin Lyberopoulos, and Jonas and Meiren Riego. As the oldest of 5 children, he will be reunited with his parents Francisco and Juanita Riego and his brother Danilo and will be greatly missed by his brothers Rolando (Felecitas) and Ferdinad (Young Min) and sister Rosario (Reynaldo Tan) and his nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, (92 Steeles Avenue West), on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
Cremation will be private. The burial of his ashes will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery on Saturday December 23rd at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
