Peacefully at home with his wife Nina by his side, on March 26, 2009 in his 91st year. Loving father of Ruth (Joe), Sarah (Andrew), Paul (predeceased). Proud grandfather of Paul John, Craig, Stefan, and Richard.
After the war Dick was employed with the Royal Insurance Co. for nearly 46 years. After his retirement he partnered in developing Hillier-Tyson Insurance Personnel Recruitment Agency.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Willowdale Presbyterian Church (38 Ellerslie Avenue, Toronto, ON) on Monday March 30, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation an hour prior. If desired expressions of sympathy, may be made to either The Church of The Messiah Anglican (240 Avenue Road, Toronto, ON M5R 2J4), or Willowdale Presbyterian Church (38 Ellerslie Avenue, Toronto, ON, M2N1X8).
