Rita Fung

(nee Ling)-After a brave battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, Rita passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the age of 47. Rita, beloved wife of Harry. Cherished mother of Harrison and Alastair. Survived by her loving mother-in-law Mrs. Yip Shing Ng Fung, sisters-in-law Catherine Li, Lorna Fung, Judy Ho, borther-in-law Patrick Fung, sister-in-law Mable Cheng, and brother-in-law Michael Fung. Predeceased by her father-in-law Mr. Y. K. Fung, sisters-in-law Kitty Fung and Irene Tsang. Dearly loved daughter of Bernard and Bernadette Ling. Fondly remembered by her sisters Teresa Gianajokos and Monica Chan. Rita will be missed by her extended family and friends. Friends may call on Monday, November 29 from 7 - 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2004 at the funeral home at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
