Robert Bertoia

It is with profound sorrow and deep pain that we announce the passing of our beloved Bob on August 11th, 2010. Bob will be held dear in the hearts of his devoted wife Sondra, his proud children Matthew and Amanda and his cherished grandaughters Adelaide and Amelia. Lovingly remembered by aunts Santina Artuso and Luisa Bertoia, sister-in-law Marilyn Cadesky and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Paul and Lydia and brother Paul Jr. Bob was generous, loving and cared deeply for his family and multitude of friends. He was an avid skier and golfer, a clever designer and builder and foremost, an amazing entertainer and accordian player. Bob will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched. Our sincerest thanks to the dedicated doctors and nurses at Mt. Sinai, Toronto General and Princess Margaret Hospitals.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 1 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at St. Wilfrid's Parish (1675 Finch Avenue West). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
