Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the age of 82. Earl, beloved husband of Doreen (nee Stevenson) for over 58 years. Loving father of Elaine and her husband William Daguanno, Robb and his wife Linda and Diana and her husband Rob Ellsworth. Special Papa of Larry, Michael, Cameron, Jonathan and Marcus. Earl is survived by his brother Stewart and sister Joyce. He will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends and fellow retired firefighters. Friends may call on Saturday, May 26th from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, May 27th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 28th at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
