I just learned of Bob's death and offer my regrets.
Bob and Bill a nd Buddy (Herbert) lived a couple of doors down from us on St.Clements.  Buddy was my friend while they lived there.   So sad they are now probably all gone.

As is the case with countless others,I had the good fortune to have Bob Gladish as a phys.ed. teacher and coach in football and gymnastics during my years at N.T.C.I. - and I'm sure his influence led me to teach and coach in Etobicoke for 35 years. Rarely does someone come into your life and have such an influence - I was lucky to have to be so blessed.

Please accept my deepest personal sympathy on the loss of Bob Gladish. Bob was my teacher and football coach at North Toronto and I am looking at the City Championship photo of 1959 and there is Bob with his warm smile, brush-cut and bow-tie. He inspired me to become a teacher and five years later I was coaching that same senior football team at NTCI. David McCullough

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad.I first met Bob, at Central Tech , as my department head,in my first year of teaching.He was a great mentor and role model to me during my teaching career. As a member of the T.S.S.A.A.executive,he was instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our association.Bob will be remembered as one of the old guard who helped shape the lives of many students through atheletics
