Suddenly on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at home at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father of Gillian (Pat Murphy) and Greig. Survived by his sister Judy. Predeceased by his brother Peter. Mike will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends in Canada and England. Mike started a family business in 1980 and after retiring, he enjoyed his passions for golf, gardening, and cheering on Manchester United. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
