Peacefully, with family at his side, on Thursday January 22, 2009 at Bayview Extendicare in his 90th year. Beloved husband for 63 years of Elizabeth. Loving father of Mary Lynn, Peggy, Joy, Robyn Jane and Susan. Cherished grandfather of Henry Robert.
Friends may visit at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Monday, January 26, 2009 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 o'clock. Cremation to follow. A celebration of Bob's life will take place in the spring of 2009. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or David Suzuki Foundation.
