Rohinton B. Daruwala (September 8, 1946 – February 23, 2025) passed away peacefully following a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Farida and his son Stanley, his daughter-in-law Narges, his grandchildren Lucas and Penny, his sister Quinee and his brother Jehangir.
As a youth, Ron enjoyed happy years with the Sea Scouts in India. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruising. Ron had a long and successful career at Praxair, initially working in the refineries and later growing into management roles in Finance and Business Development.
He was a spiritual man full of love for everyone, and he will always live on in our hearts. We will remember him as a loving and devoted husband and father, and an adoring grandfather.
A bathing & dressing ritual will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes - Thornhill on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:30am, with the funeral service beginning at 11am. Following the funeral service there will be a reception.
