Ronald Fawcett

.( Ron)-Passed away suddenly on April 9, 2010 at the age of 70. Dearly loved and missed by his wife of 45 years Barbara, his daughters Christine(Brent) and Catherine(Jonas) and grandchildren Brittany and Rian, Claire and Cameron. Predeceased by loving parents Herb and Evelyn and brother Jim and also dearly missed by step-mother Leola, sister-in-law Margot, brother-in-law Bob(Linda) and the many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends who were a part of his life. A graduate of U of T Engineering 1965, Ron retired after a successful lifetime career at IBM and was very involved with the CBA at the cottage, the IBM Alumni Association and loved making sawdust whenever possible. Ron will make his final trip to his beloved family cottage this summer where he will forever be able to watch the beautiful sunsets over Georgian Bay, a place where he most loved to be. Visitation Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation . As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
