Rosaria Barsalona

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother and nonna, Rosaria Barsalona. Surrounded by her loving family, she entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday July 15, 2009 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Andrea for 56 years, loving mother of Joe (Lidia), Rosa Lecce (Lino), and John (Carol). Cherished nonna of Danya, Andrew, Matthew, Vincent, Virginia, Natalie, and Christian. Rosaria is predeceased by her parents Giovanni Battista and Giovanna Mondino, also by her brother Antonino, 1998(Lia), and recently by brothers Rosario, March 2009 (Lila) and Pietro, May 2009 (late Giuseppina). She will also be sadly missed by her many family and friends in Italy. Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosaria lived her life for her family, especially her 7 grandchildren, whom she adored. Keep smiling and singing Nonna!
